WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US…
SI.BE.G. srl CASE HISTORY
S.I.BE.G. srl since 1960 S.I.BE.G. has been the “The Coca-Cola Company’s” soft drinks’ bottling company in Sicily. The company has chosen the social distancing keyfob “Close-to-me” for Catania’s and Tirana’s plants.
«“Close-to-me” is a small device that can be worn around the neck all day and is not an annoyance. It warns wearers acoustically when it comes into contact with another device but it is not too noisy. Moreover, it is connected to a software, with which we can download the entire history of each device it has come into contact with at a distance of less than one and a half metres. These are the winning features of “Close-to-me”: other devices on the market are larger and at times use more advanced technologies than we actually need».
it is the first device in Italy that, worn by two or more people in the same room, identifies the “Social distancing”.
WRISTBAND OR KEYFOB?
Close-to-me can be personalised and purchased either as a wristband or keyfob: discover the format most in line with your needs.
- Social distancing
- Bluetooth BLE
- Led and buttons
The device can store in the internal memory the ID of the other devices that got closer than defined threshold. The data can be downloaded using mobile app installed on a smartphone or a dedicated BLE Gateway.
“Close-to-me” functions in the following way:
based on radio frequency technology, it creates a non-invasive, low frequency radio bubble around the person. A sound and vibration warns wearers when the set distance is not respected. It is non-invasive, designed above all to simplify procedures involved in re-opening businesses and can be implemented easily and rapidly. Moreover, through simple adaptations the device can be used to control accesses, detect presences and pay the company canteen. The product is also available with the remote monitoring option: through the installation of a Gateway that allows you to download all the alarms when “Close-to-me” is in the same arc, it is possible to connect to “Nextome” software, thus verifying compliance with the employee’s social distancing.
