RFID Labels

RFID labels by Partitalia are made of a variety of materials and consist of several layers, namely: an outer layer made of paper, fabric or other plastic materials such as PVC, PET and polypropylene, a layer of glue to which the antenna and RFID chip — also known as aluminium inlay — are attached and, finally, another thin layer of glue. For fabric labels, the antenna is typically housed inside the fabric and is applied by sewing it into the garment. These are the most common in the fashion industry! 
RFID wet inlays instead have an outer layer usually made of PET which contains the inlay, to which an adhesive layer is applied.

APPLICATIONS

RFID labels vary in size and cover a wide range of applications. In fact, they are ideal for asset management, logistics (affixed directly to the merchandise to understand the entire distribution process), access control for people and vehicles (applied to the dashboard of moving vehicles), identification of automated processes, anti-counterfeiting, retail and mass-market retail with an anti-theft function or the identification of inventory management processes, but also in supply-chain projects.

Furthermore, RFID wet inlays are excellent for tracking bags in door-to-door pay-as-you-throw waste collection, as well as being suitable for retail, supply chain, industry and logistics applications.

CUSTOMISATION TECHNIQUES

Most RFID labels can be customised with logos printed in colour or black and white using offset or inkjet technology. Thermographic printing is only applicable in black and white. Only fabric labels are customised using thermographic printing. However, due to their physical features, no customisation can be applied to RFID wet inlays.

    LB002 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. Rectangular in shape, it measures 40 mm x 19.5 mm x 0.25 mm and can be applied to non-metal surfaces. Printing and serial numbering are applied using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. LB002 is available in white and in HF, with the ICODE SLIX chip.

    LB003 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. Rectangular, it measures 70 mm x 35 mm x 0.23 mm and is applied to non-metal surfaces. It can be customised: printing and serial numbering are applied using the offset or inkjet technique for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. LB003 is white and available in UHF with the UCODE 7 chip.

  3. LB004 RFID labels

    LB004 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. Round in shape, it has a diameter of 40 mm, 0.27-mm thickness, and is designed for application on non-metal surfaces. Printing and serial numbering are applied using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. LB004 is white and available in HF with the MIFARE CLASSIC 1K EV1 S50 chip.

  4. LB005 RFID labels

    LB005 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. With a round shape, it has a 30-mm diameter and is 0.5 mm thick. It is designed for application on non-metal surfaces, and can be customised using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. Available in white and in LF, with the RF81 chip.

  5. LB006 RFID labels

    LB006 is a flexible RFID label made of PP (polypropylene), a ductile thermoplastic material with a high resistance to impacts and high temperatures. This label can tolerate up to 100°C during operation! 
    Rectangular in shape, it measures 110 mm x 38 mm x 0.35 mm and is suitable for application on glass and other non-metal surfaces via an adhesive backing. Printing and numbering are applied using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. LB006 is white and available in UHF, with MONZA 4E and MONZA 4QT chips. The reading distance is large and depends on the reader, environment and application.

  6. LB007 RFID labels

    LB007 is an RFID label made of PET, a plastic material resistant to cuts, weather and high temperatures. It can tolerate up to 85°C during operation. 
    Rectangular in shape, it comes in two sizes: 64 mm x 6 mm x 0.74 mm and 64 mm x 18 mm x 0.74 mm. LB007 can be applied to metal surfaces by means of the special permanent adhesive. It can be customised using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. White in colour, it is available in UHF with the UCODE 8 chip.

    LB008 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. Rectangular in shape, it measures 85 mm x 54 mm x 0.43 mm and can be applied to non-metal surfaces. Printing and serial numbering are applied using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. White in colour, it is available in HF with the  MIFARE CLASSIC 1K EV1 S50 chip.

  8. LB009 RFID labels

    LB009 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. It is rectangular in shape and measures 45 mm x 22 mm x 0.3 mm. It is applied to non-metal materials by means of an adhesive. It can be customised using offset or inkjet technology in colour and black and white, and thermographic printing in black and white. White in colour, LB009 is available in  UHF, with the MONZA R6 chip, and can be read over large distances, which vary depending on the environment, application and reader.

  9. LB011 RFID labels

    LB011 is a flexible and adhesive paper RFID label. Rectangular in shape, it measures 110 mm x 35 mm x 0.25 mm, while the antenna inlay is 100 mm x 12 mm. It is suitable for application on non-metal materials with an adhesive backing. Printing and numbering are carried out using offset or inkjet technology for colour and black-and-white prints, and thermographic printing for black-and-white prints. White in colour, it operates in the UHF band with the HIGGS 3 chip.
